Franklyn Scholar has a strong sense of commitment to the community. Part of this commitment is our involvement
in many community projects. As the company expands
we seek to become more involved in worthwhile projects
with a view to assisting those in a less fortunate position.

Training and Employment - Disability
School-based New Apprentices. Wages paid by FS Learning to employers willing to provide employment for students with physical or mental disabilities.

Pastoral Care & Counselling Program
Annual donation of $20,000 for this program at a local secondary school, Padua College. Funds are available for work with needy students and their families and to enable the students to complete their education in the event of family illness, bereavement, break-ups etc.

Menzies Incorporated
In 2007, FS Learning is undertaking to pay the wages of 10 students to work at Menzies Inc. Moorooduc to complete Certificate II in Horticulture. Total $30,000.

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea
Cancer Council fundraiser held at our Victorian FS Leaning office annually organised and run by FS staff. We open our doors to the public to come and have cake, morning tea and donate a gold coin. $1,000 raised each year.

St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hampers
Packing of donated goods at St. Vincent de Paul centre has become an annual event for staff, Reps and Trainers also volunteering at their local centre.

Family Caring Program
Sponsorship of $2,000 for this local Church and Community run program caring for families in need.

Volunteer Visiting
This program introduced staff to volunteering during work hours and involved visiting residents at the Mornington Aged Care Facility one afternoon per week on a rotating basis.

Human Powered Vehicle
Sponsorship of $1,000 annually for local school students to participate in this event, training during the year and competing at Maryborough as part of the education program in Health and Physical Education.

Bionic Ear
Sponsorship of $1,000 for Darwin to Melbourne bike ride raising funds for research and development of the Bionic Ear.

Sporting Clubs
$1,750 Sponsorship for local football and golf clubs.
